Sentinel & Mount Vernon To Honor The 100th Anniversary of CPL. Morris D. Lin
On Tuesday October 12th, 2021, at 897 So. Columbus Avenue, Mt. Vernon, NY; Mayor Shawyn Patterson-Howard and the City of Mount Vernon honored the 100th year anniversary of the interment of the late great Corporal Morris D. Link, a soldier who participated in the triumphs of the world-renowned Harlem Hell Fighters 369th Regiment, posthumously receiving the Croix de Guerre, a military award for those who fought in WWI.
Morris D. Link, of Mount Vernon, NY; served with the 369th and was killed in action on July 15, 1918.
Sentinel's CEO/President Terrence Horton was the Master of Ceremonies for this Memorial Service.
